This policy explains what information Likho Urdu (likhourdu.com/) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
The tools do not upload your content
The Roman Urdu converter, InPage converter and Urdu image-to-text tool run entirely inside your web browser. The text you type, the files you open and the images you convert are processed on your own device and are not sent to our server.
To make the tools more convenient, your browser’s local storage keeps your last draft in the Roman Urdu converter, the spellings you chose, and your preferred Urdu font. This information stays on your device. You can remove it by clearing your browser’s site data, or with the “Clear my saved spellings” button.
Voice typing
The Urdu voice typing tool uses the speech recognition built into your browser. When you use it, your browser sends your voice to its own speech service to be converted to text: Google for Chrome, Microsoft for Edge. That processing is governed by the privacy policy of your browser’s provider. Likho Urdu does not receive or store your voice recordings.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and time of visit, to keep the site secure and working. [If you use Google Analytics or another analytics service, name it here and link to its privacy policy.]
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
